The One Ummah Conference is a yearly event established in 2009 and organized by the Islamic Information Society of Calgary (IISC) as part of its ongoing education and awareness programs.

The foundation of the conference was motivated by the Ayah “...God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves...” (Quran 13:11).

With over 1300 attendees and growing, we are proud to say that One Ummah is the largest and most anticipated Islamic event in Western Canada. The One Ummah Conference brings our Muslim community together for a full day of learning and community-building by attracting a diverse crowd, hosting world-renowned Islamic scholars and speakers, and offering a unique fun marketplace. We aim to continuously promote an inclusive space with authentic Islamic traditions, where we can come together annually to enjoy our wonderfully diverse community and our shared Islamic faith.

With a steadfast commitment to promoting authentic Islamic traditions and knowledge, our mission at the One Ummah Islamic Conference is to foster unity, harmony, and enlightenment across all age groups. We aspire to serve as a guiding light, igniting the flames of inspiration within the next generation of leaders. Through their empowerment, we aim to instill the values of compassion, understanding, and positive change within our beautifully diverse community.

By nurturing a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, we strive to build bridges that connect hearts and minds, creating a more cohesive and inclusive society for generations to come.
